1. Dog Park with Safety Features
A major highlight of the Evergreen Residential landscape design is the addition of a dog park that provides a safe and engaging space for pets to run and play. The park is enclosed by a heavy-duty, 9-gauge chain link fence, measuring 84' by 42'. We incorporated a safety entrance area of 12' by 15', enhancing the security of the space with two 12' sections and two 15' sections of fence. The enclosure is completed with four 3' gates for easy access and exit. The fence's durability ensures long-term functionality, providing both safety and visual appeal.

2. Commercial Charcoal Grills for Outdoor Enjoyment
To enhance the outdoor experience, we installed two commercial-grade charcoal grills within the landscape. These grills are permanently mounted in-ground, made from black steel with lids and side trays for added convenience. Whether it's a family BBQ or a community gathering, these grills add both practicality and charm to the space.

3. Scenic Walkway with Durable Stone Path
Another significant addition is the 1300 linear foot walking path, which spans approximately 4 feet in width. The walkway is designed to provide residents and visitors with a smooth and clear path through the landscaped areas. We used 75 tons of crush and run stone to create the base layer, ensuring a stable foundation. On top of that, we added another 75 tons of 67 stone, enhancing both the durability and aesthetics of the path. This scenic walkway is perfect for leisurely strolls, making it a beautiful and functional addition to the landscape.

4. Efficient Drainage System
To ensure the longevity of the landscape and prevent water-related issues, we installed an 8" culvert pipe beneath the walkway. The surrounding area is complemented by 70 square feet of Rip Rap stone, naturally shaped to create an aesthetically pleasing yet highly functional drainage system. This ensures that water flows efficiently, protecting the integrity of the landscape design and keeping the space dry and usable.

5. Carefully Selected Plantings for a Lush Landscape
As part of the landscaping design, we installed a variety of trees and shrubs, carefully selected to complement the space and enhance its visual appeal. These included:

• 10 Viburnum Chindo (7-gal)

• 5 Crape Myrtle Lagerstroemia indica Muskogee (8' multi-stem)

• 7 Shumard Oak (2" caliper)

• 5 Yoshino Cherry (2" caliper)

• 2 Cedar Deodar (8')

These plants were chosen for their aesthetic value, hardiness, and ability to thrive in the local climate. Their strategic placement adds depth and dimension to the landscape, while offering vibrant colors and textures throughout the year.

6. Mulch for Enhanced Aesthetics and Soil Health
We placed double hammered hardwood mulch around newly planted trees and shrubs, totaling 88 cubic yards. This mulch serves multiple purposes, including moisture retention, weed suppression, and providing an attractive finish to the landscaping beds. The mulch helps maintain healthy soil conditions while adding a polished look to the landscape.

7. Artistic Turf Replacement Area
In addition to the plantings and mulch, we replaced an area designated for artificial turf with 36 cubic yards of double hammered hardwood mulch. This replacement helps preserve the aesthetic appeal of the area while making it more natural and eco-friendly.
